The last two years have been a whirlwind of awesome. One of the greatest moments: being told "Joss Whedon does know of your show and he is tickled"....in regards to a burlesque show I helped put on. Geek Squeeeeee!
ReplyDeleteWell, besides discovering This Charming Candy and the watermelon basil lollipop, the most awesome thing that has happened in the last two years was tackling the list of doing things that scare me. I have learned to drink gin, run a 200 mile relay, competed in a Tough Mudder event and so much more! Yea for finally being strong . . . and staying sweet!

I think the most awesome think to happen to me in the last two years is getting together with my current boyfriend. :)

Two big things: I finally married my guy in March 2010, and we moved across the country a few months later.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a wacky 2 years but the nicest thing I've done was last weekend! I was raised by my aunt and she and I took my Nana up to the Sunshine Coast for three days to see her old property there which my Aunt had revitalized and put a new house onto. My Nana was so touched and the three generations of women in our family had a grand time playing Scrabble, eating your candy, and drinking more wine than we should have. We are all closer than ever.

ReplyDeleteIn the last two years, we bought our first house and made a commitment to live in a place for more than 5 years. A bit step for vagabonds like us, who crave moving and travel and new experiences. But Seattle made us slow down a bit, with its awesome people and great outdoors - we thought we could hang out a bit longer than normal. :)

ReplyDeleteThe last two years have been full of classes and books and essays. And, the nest two will have even more. I graduated with a bachelors in English last December, which was awesome. After taking a semester of pre-med classes, I ran back to the English classes and started on a Masters. (I should be writing an essay right now, but I'm putting it off).
I also got braces a few months ago. Which is not awesome, but they do provide an awesome excuse to buy your charming lollipops. :D
Congratulations on your two delicious years! In the last two years, the most awesome thing for me was moving back to Seattle! :)
ReplyDeleteI think my best memory of the last two years, was turning 40. Sounds strange, huh, but 8 of my HS girlfriends took a trip and met another girlfriend there. (5 of us have October birthdays and 5 of us went to Kindergarten together) It was an awesome adventure and took a huge effort from all the husbands and kids for the moms to be gone. Teamwork!
