The Winged Victory of Samothrace is easily my favorite sculpture in the world. I'm impressed when it looks like the marble fabric could actually move like regular fabric. That, and it's impossible to stand like that and *not* feel like you could accomplish anything you set your mind to. Go on, try it. I dare you. Feels good, doesn't it?
In fact, I think I'm going to stand like that right now.
